Sun Valley Saddle Club School Programs
Sun Valley Saddle Club is offering a "PE Class" for your upcoming semester. Open to students in traditional schools as an independent study option as well as for those homeschooling. Each class will have a maximum of 6 students and require instructor approval to join.
We also offer an after-school group horsemanship learning about horses in a hands-on environment. Most of the time is dedicated to unmounted instruction with a little mounted instruction added in. Class length depends on group size and age. Both programs follow the Pony Club standards and use their books as textbooks and their testing as a guideline. Classes will include mounted and unmounted instruction including hands on horse care at every meeting. Riding will be mostly English flatwork or vaulting. We're fast approaching the deadline for new teams for 2017, but it's not too early to start organizing for 2018.
